Nan Carter is the co-founder and Director of Administration at Family Legacy Financial. Overseeing the Administration Department, Nan is primarily responsible for ensuring efficiency within the firm by planning and implementing new processes. As a client advocate, Nan is dedicated to delivering first-class client experiences in any way that she can. Whether that means assisting with lengthy account applications, keeping clients updated on their progress, or updating files - Nan is the person our clients know they can rely on.
Prior to beginning her career in the financial services industry, Nan earned her A.A.S in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting from Columbia State Community College in 2003. She returned to school years later to obtain her A.A.S. in Nursing from Tennessee State University in 2011. While finishing up her Nursing degree, Nan was dating Landon, and began to work part-time in his office to assist with account paperwork. After losing her brother unexpectedly in 2014, Nan experienced first-hand the importance of legacy planning. It was several months later, when Nan and Landon made the decision to become an independent firm and establish Family Legacy Financial, together.
Nan and Landon were married in 2013 and became a blended family with three teenage children. In her spare time, Nan enjoys cooking, photography, reading, hiking, and traveling.
